Terms:
All invoices are payable at Net 30 days from the date of the invoice for all accounts with an approved line of credit. If you do not currently have a line of credit with Superior Surgical then all orders must be paid for in full before shipment will be made.

Superior Surgical Products accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, pre-paid company check, cashier’s check, money orders or wire Transfers. Prices are subject to change without notice.

International Terms:        Superior Surgical accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, pre-paid company check, cashier’s check, money orders or wire transfer. All international orders must be pre-paid in full including duty and tax charges. All packages will be shipped via UPS International Priority Service

Shipping Options:

Superior Surgical Products uses UPS for all shipments. 

All order placed before 3 PM EST usually ship within 1-2 business days. Occasionally we might not have the item you ordered in stock. For more information regarding backorders and delivery times please contact us. We do offer third party billing, but you must contact us directly. Prices quoted are FOB Pottstown, PA to a business address, shipments to residential addresses may be billed at a higher rate. Prices are subject to change without notice. If a special request is made, an additional handling charge may be included on the invoice to cover the resulting processing and carrier charges. Outside the Continental U.S. the buyer is responsible for any other shipping charges that apply (customs, duties, etc.)

Acceptance: All orders are subject to approval by Superior Surgical Products . Superior Surgical Products reserves the right to alter the design or form of any product or to discontinue any product prior to the date of delivery without incurring any obligation to make such changes in any items previously purchased, whether or not delivered.

Credit: Superior Surgical reserves the right to refuse orders, suspend credit and cancel unfulfilled orders when credit conditions of a customer warrant such action.

Shipments, Damages, and Shortages in Transit:

Superior Surgical assumes no responsibility or liability for unforeseen delays in making delivery. When signing for receipt of goods, all visible damages and/or shortages to cartons must be indicated on the carrier delivery receipt so that a claim may be filled with the carrier. The customer shall inspect all items upon arrival and give written notice to Superior Surgical of any claim for a shortage, non-conformance or damage within 24 business hours after receipt of shipment. NO CONSIDERATIONS FOR THESE CONDITIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF GOODS. Superior Surgical may make partial shipments, which the customer/distributor shall accept and pay for at the prices specified on maturity of the invoice involved.


Return Goods Policy

A returned merchandise authorization number (RMA) must be obtained prior to returning any product(s) to Superior Surgical. Product(s) returned without an RMA number will be returned to the customer or distributor, at our cost, with a letter of explanation. Returns can only be granted and authorized by obtaining an RMA number from Superior Surgical customer service at 1-877-669-7646. Issuance of an RMA number should not be interpreted as a final credit to your customer account. Superior Surgical reserves the right to evaluate incoming returns prior to issuing any customer credit. Non-returnable products received by Superior Surgical will be returned directly to the customer, at our cost, with a letter of explanation. Sterile products, which have been opened, returned out of the original package, or returned after the sterile expiration date, are not returnable. Any instruments that are returned damaged will be repaired; the cost of the repair will be deducted from the credited amount. Private labeled, custom made, or custom etched products are not returnable. Superior Surgical will not refund any expedited Air shipment costs, i.e. First Overnight, Priority Overnight, 2 Day, or International shipping.

Superior Surgical Products

Full credit will be issued for any instrument returned within 30 days of invoice date, provided the instrument is returned in perfect condition. Product(s) must be returned in its original packaging after obtaining an RMA number. There will be a 20% restocking fee for products returned after 30 days but before 45 days after receipt of shipment. No returns will be accepted 45 days after receipt of shipment.

Alger Company:
Full credit will be issued for any instrument returned within 30 days of invoice date, provided the instrument is returned in perfect condition. No returns will be accepted 30 days after receipt of shipment. Sterile products, which have been opened, returned out of the original package, or returned after the sterile expiration date, are not returnable.

Angiotech/Sharpoint:
Full credit will be issued for any suture returned within 60 days of invoice date, provided the suture is returned in perfect condition. There will be a 40% restocking fee for suture returned after 60 days but before 6 months after receipt of shipment. No returns will be accepted after 6 months from receipt of shipment. Sterile products, which have been opened, returned out of the original package, or returned after the sterile expiration date, are not returnable. 

Medin Trays:
There will be a 25% restocking fee on all products returned within 45 days of invoice date, provided the products are returned in perfect condition. There will be a 40% restocking fee for products returned after 45 days but before 60 days after receipt of shipment. No returns will be accepted 60 days after receipt of shipment. Products that are sterilized are non-returnable. All defective products must be reported to Superior Surgical within 2 days after receipt products or the claim will not be honored.

Miltex:
Full credit will be issued for any instrument returned within 30 days of invoice date, provided the instrument is returned in perfect condition. Product(s) must be returned in its original packaging. There will be a 25% restocking fee for products returned after 30 days but before 60 days after receipt of shipment. No returns will be accepted 60 days after receipt of shipment.


Ocular Instruments: Full credit will be issued for any instrument returned within 30 days of invoice date, provided the lenses are returned in perfect condition. Please clean and disinfect all products prior to returning. No returns will be accepted 30 days after receipt of shipment.

Oculo-Plastik:
Full credit will be issued for any instrument returned within 30 days of invoice date, provided the instrument is returned in perfect condition. Product(s) must be returned in its original packaging. There will be a 25% restocking fee for products returned after 30 days but before 60 days after receipt of shipment. No returns will be accepted 60 days after receipt of shipment. Products that are sterilized are non-returnable.


Polarware Trays:
There will be a 25% restocking fee on all products returned within 60 days of invoice date, provided the products are returned in perfect condition. No returns will be accepted 60 days after receipt of shipment.


PST Trays:
Full credit will be issued for any instrument returned within 30 days of invoice date, provided the instrument is returned in perfect condition. There will be a 25% restocking fee for products returned after 30 days but before 45 days after receipt of shipment. No returns will be accepted 45 days after receipt of shipment.


SciCan:
There will be a 25% restocking fee on all products returned within 30 days of invoice date, provided the product is returned in perfect condition. No returns will be accepted 30 days after receipt of shipment.  


Instrument Warranty: All Superior Surgical instruments, except custom ordered or custom etched instruments, can be evaluated for quality, style and craftsmanship for up to 30 days from date of invoice. All Superior Surgical Instruments are guaranteed to be free of rust for at least 1 year from date of invoice. Any instrument returned for this reason will be refurbished or replaced, at Superior Surgical's discretion, without charge. All Superior Surgical instruments are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship when used for their intended surgical purpose. Any Superior Surgical product that proves defective in workmanship or material will either be repaired or replaced, at Superior Surgical's discretion, without charge. 

Warranty Exceptions: Warranties are not valid for Superior Surgical instruments and products that prove defective as a result of improper care, cleaning or misuse. Instruments or products that are damaged in fire, flood, or other acts or disasters are also excluded from warranty. Superior Surgical makes no other representations and warranties regarding its instruments or products, either express or implied. In no event will Superior Surgical Corp. be liable for any incidental, special or exemplary damages or loss of profits in connection with the use of Superior Surgical instruments and products.

Lifetime Ophthalmic Instrument Repair Restrictions & Exclusions

Program Limitations:
Offer valid on Superior-brand ophthalmic instruments purchased after July 1st, 2007 and found at www.superiorsurgical.com. Superior’s Lifetime Repair Program is limited to fifty (50) Superior-brand ophthalmic instrument repairs per customer per fiscal year (Jan 1st – Dec 31st). Any Superior-brand ophthalmic instruments received that are found to be misused, improperly sterilized, mishandled or intentionally damaged will not be covered under this repair program and will be quoted at standard repair charges. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges to and from Superior’s instrument repair service center. All returned instruments shipped via UPS Overnight for $45.00.  -

Instruments Excluded:
Aaron burr handpiece and/or tips, Algerbrush handpiece and/or tips, autoclaves, Beehler pupil dilator, bipolar cords, any cannulas, cautery tips, cryosurgical handpieces, demagnetizers, diamond knives, any and all disposable products, eye shields, Honan Balloon, iris retractors, irrigation/aspiration handpieces and/or tips, IOL injectors, laser-coated instruments, wire lid speculae, Ocular lenses, phaco handpieces, phaco tip wrenches, pulse-ox probes, Rare Earth Magnet, sterilization trays, tonometers, vitreoretinal instruments.


Repairs Excluded: Replacement of micro teeth on forceps, any parts replacement including spring or slide-locks on needle holders and/or forceps, any instrument requiring laser welding or re-insulation, any bipolar-type forceps requiring re-insulation or replacement of connector.  These repairs will be quoted at our standard repair charges.
